Fees/Charges
Free Three and Four Year-Old Kinder will be available at Springside Kindergarten in 2026. Free kinder means more Victorian children can have the best start in life, no matter where they live:
- For three-year-old’s this means from 5 and up to 15 hours per week of a kindergarten program
- For four-year-old’s this means 15 hours per week (600 hours a year). Participating kindergarten programs will receive funding directly from the Victorian Government, so families are not out of pocket (and don’t have to claim the savings back).
- As part of the Victorian Governments Pre prep initiative, children in the Priority 1 cohort may be eligible for increased funded kinder hours in 2026.

Springside Kindergarten acknowledges the support of the Victorian Government.
Fees that you may incur during your time at Springside:
- Excursion/service event charge/Levy: Additional excursion(s) will be arranged throughout the year that is relevant to the service’s program and the children’s interests. Families will only be charged for excursions which require transport and entry fee costs.
- Late collection charge: A late fee will be charged for children who are collected late (after their session finish time). You will be charged a flat rate of $40 for the first 15 minutes and then $5 every minute after that. Families are provided with two weeks to pay their late fees. If you are going to be late for any reason, please contact the staff at the kindergarten.
